To access your e-mail.

You must have Internet Access.
You must have access on your home computer (common ISP are Insight, AOL, CompuServe, MSN, etc.) Without a connection to the Internet, you will not be able to check your mail.

Pop-Up blockers must be turned off. If you have Windows XP SP 2 as an OS, you will need to allow pop-ups from this site

It is strongly suggested that you NOT save passwords on a computer. Also, close Internet Explorer and log off of the computer after checking your mail. Otherwise, cookies and Internet history might enable another user to send e-mail in your name.

  • Go to the district homepage http://rps205.com
  • Click the RPS Web E-mail link in the Horizontal vertical bar above the main frame
  • Enter your user name
  • Press the tab key
  • Enter your password
      Note-Passwords are case sensitive

  • Press the Enter key

Teacher e-mail is designed to be accessed through the Internet. Attempts to setup Outlook in Microsoft Office or Outlook Express will be unsuccessful. Your mailbox could become corrupt should you attempt this.

Please note that your e-mail is provided as a professional tool.
Do not attach pictures that would offend ANY individual.
Do not attach files that have a copyright.
Do not send or forward jokes that would be racially, ethnically, or sexually offensive.

The e-mail system is not backed up for each staff member. While it is a common way to transport GradeQuick and other files, be certain that you have a backup (i.e. c:\ drive or flash drive) should e-mail files not be accessible.

E-mail tutorials can be found by
  • Clicking Quick Links on the district home page
  • Clicking Flash Training Movies (Camtasia)
  • Select Using Outlook Web Access (OWA-Email) sound is required
