Social Science Goals & Standards From ISBE Social Studies is the vehicle through which testiing occurs. Students who learn about political systems, economics, history, geography, and social systems are better prepared for state tests, either the ISAT or the PSAE. Reading and comprehending Social Studies prepares students to make inferences, demonstrate vocabulary skills, and analyze maps, charts,and graphs. |
