WWI Reenactment Midway Village Museum - Rockford's History Museum
World War II Days on September 27-28,2008
Experience the World War II Era
Saturday 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Sunday 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM

World War II Days includes elaborate and realistic battles complete with tanks, artillery, armored vehicles, and exciting pyrotechnic displays. Saturday the battle shows are featured at 1:30 PM and 3:30 PM. Sunday the battle time is 2:30 PM. Maps of the event site will be available when visitors arrive showcasing the battlefield and the various encampments and attractions.

Visitors will also experience:
. Elaborate displays with the majority of historical buildings on the museum property acting as the back drop of a European village during World War II
. Wood encampments and realistic skirmishes integrated in the historic village
. German cavalry scenes
. Soldiers' base camps filled with period vehicles, tents and artifacts
. Watch D-Day Remembered: An Academy Award nominated documentary at 11:30 AM each day

Midway Village Museum is located a 1/3 mile from Perryville and Guilford Roads, in Rockford, Illinois, just one mile west of the I-90 State Street exit. Parking is free.

World War II Days Admission
$8 adults; $4 for children (3 to 17); and free for World War II veterans
