  • “Keep the lights on after school”
Rockford community agencies and museums, along with the Rockford School District, have provided academic and enrichment activities to students, grades 1- 8, at up to 19 sites throughout the community. This collaborative program helps 2,800 students receive academic support each year. The program has been funded through state and federal grants, however, funding cuts have occurred, reducing our ability to meet the demand for the program. This year we will be providing programs at nine schools.

You can support the continued academic growth of students by donating to ASAP @ RPS. Send your donations to:

    COMMUNITY FOUNDATION OF NORTHERN ILLINOIS
    946 NORTH SECOND STREET
    ROCKFORD, IL 61107

To provide 1 teacher for 1 hour for 15 students, ASAP @ RPS needs $25. With your help ASAP@RPS can continue to provide valuable programming to our youth.

Questions? Call 966-5251, ASAP @ RPS Coordinator, Maggie Kempel
