| | INTERVIEW PROCESS
After you've submitted your application for vacancies in the Certified Communicator, Administrators will review all applicant information, and directly contact you should they desire an interview with you. Information in your file must be current and complete. Your file will remain active for the entire hiring season. If you find employment in another district, we request you notify us so we may deactivate your file. Failure to inform us of your employment status may result in unnecessary interview contacts.
HIRING PROCESS
Administrators conduct interviews and select a candidate for hiring consideration. A recommendation for hire is submitted by the administrator to the Human Resources Department. The recommendation for hire is not a final placement. The Human Resources Department must review all of an applicant's credentials and application information. At this time, all required applicant information must be completed or the candidate will not be officially placed into the vacant position.
Reasons that a placement cannot be finalized are: The candidate recommended was not properly certified for the position. There were in-district applicants eligible for a transfer. The candidate did not have a clear fingerprinting and criminal history background check or application information was incomplete.
Please keep in mind, if an administrator informs you that he or she is recommending you for a position, that is only a preliminary placement decision. If you are hired, you will be notified by the Human Resources Department if your placement recommendation is finalized. The letter you receive will provide further instructions about your new teaching position. |
