Non-Certified Staff

Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required for ALL positions.
Non-instructional positions are posted in our Non-Certified Communicator monthly. These positions include but are not limited to, para-professionals (aides), secretaries, and non-certified support positions.

Please view the Non-Certified Communicator for vacancies and fill out the vacancy form listing positions you are interested in. All new applicants must also fill out an Online Application, see link below.

Clerical Staff
Before you can apply for a vacant clerical position, you mut have ALREADY successfully passed the required test. For new applicants, test scores will expire three years from the last date tested. Clerical testing is scheduled on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month. (Schedule is subject to change.) For additional information on testing, please go to link below.

Clerical Orientation
Clerical orientation meetings are mandatory and are held on the last Wednesday of the month. All new employees will receive a letter informing them when they must attend. These meetings are held at the Administration Building, 201 S. Madison St., in room 207. Sometimes the location changes to accomodate new employees, so refer to your letter for the most accurate information. Questions can be directed to (815) 966-3103.

Paraprofessional Staff
Paraprofessional positions require a NCLB Paraprofessional approval document. Applications will not be considered unless a copy of your approval document is on file with the Human Resources Department before the application deadline stated on the Communicator in which you are applying for.



On-line Application
On-line application must be filled out before applying through the Non-Certified Communicator.

Non-Certified Communicator is closed. The next publication will be Monday, November 23, 2009.

PLEASE NOTE: PLEASE NOTE: When filling out the vacancy form, please enter the correct round number so it corresponds to the Communicator you are applying for. Each one (Certified and Non-Certified) has a different number. Your application will be processed according to the number you have listed on the application. You will be held accountable for any errors or failure to enter the correct number. Also, if you are a new applicant, please fill out the new applicant form which can be found as a link on the vacancy form. If changing the order of preference, please state it in the comment area.
