Access of Employee Personnel Files Every employee of the Rockford Public School District has the right to examine the contents of his or her personnel file in the staff member’s building or at the Board of Education building. Personnel files must be reviewed in the presence of the Administration responsible for the confidentiality of the files provided the Administration has the opportunity to obtain the necessary information needed to be reviewed. In accordance to this right, all employees must make an appointment to review their personnel records.
