In accordance with Illinois state law, Rockford Public School District #205 provides a home or hospital program.
“The home and hospital program shall be provided to any child with a health or physical impairment which, in the opinion of a licensed medical examiner, will cause an absence from school for more than two consecutive weeks, and for whom school personnel determine that such a program can be of educational benefit.” ILAC 226.300
