HUMAN RESOURCES
Mission
The mission of the Human Resources Department is to provide superior services that will recruit, select, and retain highly qualified staff who will effectively educate, support, and serve the children of our diverse community.

Department Functions
The Human Resources Department's functions include staffing, recruitment, benefits administration, compensation planning, employee development, and employee relations.

Access of Employee Personnel Files
Every employee of the Rockford Public School District has the right to examine the contents of his or her personnel file in the staff member’s building or at the Board of Education building. Personnel files must be reviewed in the presence of the Administration responsible for the confidentiality of the files provided the Administration has the opportunity to obtain the necessary information needed to be reviewed. In accordance to this right, all employees must make an appointment to review their personnel records. To schedule an appointment, please contact Deetra Sallis, Manager of Placement and Recruitment at (815) 966-3046 or fax a request to (815) 966-3057.”
