What buildings is Project Real currently active in?



Will the textbooks for the second cohort be the same as the first?



I cannot attend the informational meetings, what should I do?

I am interested in receiving a Masters plus 40 for the salary schedule, but I don't intend on pursuing an administrative role. Can I still apply?

Is there a possibility to combine the course work for the Education
Specialist certification with courses to a PH.D in Education?

Project Real is currently active in Nelson, Rolling Green, RESA, and Jefferson.


This hasn't been determined for all of the courses. I can tell you that in LEEA 600 the books will be the same, though, of course, new editions may have come out.

Click on the Project Real link on the district's main page, and follow the application procedures to the letter. Any incomplete or incorrect applications will not be reviewed.

Classes, two per evening, are currently held in the Jefferson High School library from 4:15-9:00 p.m. Tuesdays.

If offered an administrative position upon completion, you are encouraged to accept the/a leadership position for a period of no less than two years.

It is Dr. Thompson's goal to make every effort to ensure the right "fit" for each applicant/position to ensure your success.

This program is meant for those leaders within the Rockford Public Schools who intend to the serve the distict as administrative leaders. I would suggest you research other cohort programs which meet your needs.

As long as the grant is available. It is a five year grant. Currently, cohort one and two are all that have been planned.

This degree leads to the PH. D and there will be an opportunity to finish the PH.D through N.I.U., after you complete the ED.S. also through N.I.U. In fact, many of the credits from this ED.S. program will be accepted, however, currently, they are not combined.
