Adobe Systems, Inc. School Innovation Awards
SCOPE: The awards program honors the creative and innovative work of high school students in three categories: web design and development; film and video; and graphic and print design.
ELIGIBILITY: Students who attend an accredited high school in the U.S. and are between the ages of 14-19.
DEADLINE: May 12
FUNDS: The three finalists and winners in each category as well as the Best-of-Best winner will be announced at the National Educational Computing Conference (NECC) in San Antonio, Texas, which is scheduled for June 26 - July 2. The Best-of-Best winner plus one chaperone will receive a trip to Awards Event, including nonrefundable coach class round-trip airfare (if located outside the metropolitan area of San Antonio) and two nights's accommodation in shared housing arrangements.

"I Won't Cheat!"
SCOPE: Established by Major League Baseball player, Dale Murphy, the I Won't Cheat! Foundation offers a monthly essay contest. Each month the essay question will change to reflect the pledge of not cheating in sports, life or the classroom.
ELIGIBILITY: Youth in grades K - 12.
DEADLINE: Ongoing, monthly.

Peace Poetry Awards
SCOPE: The Nuclear Age Peace Foundation is holding the 2008 Barbara Mandingo Kelly Peace Poetry Awards.
ELIGIBILITY: People worldwide.
DEADLINE: July 1.
FUNDS: $200 for youth 13-18; $200 for youth 12 & under; $1,000 for adults
AREAS: Poems must: reflect positive visions of peace and the human spirit; have a minimum of 30 lines; have a title; be unpublished, original and in English.
