Sigma Phi Epsilon Balanced Man Scholarship: DEADLINE: must be submitted by April 23, 2010. Scholarship for a graduating male planning to attend the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana in Fall 2010. General Assembly Scholarship: DEADLINE: must be submitted by April 30, 2010. Scholarship for graduating senior residing in the 34th senate district who plans on attending a state school and provide evidence of activity in public and civic affairs. Applications available from Mrs. Joyner in counseling.

Ruth Harris Book Scholarship: DEADLINE: must be submitted by April 30, 2010. Scholarship for Auburn Academy or CAPA students through the Ruth Harris Scholarship Committee/Parents of Gifted Education. Applications available online at Ruth Harris

Northern Illinois Building Contractors Association: DEADLINE: May 1, 1010. Scholarship for student planning on attending Rock Valley College for an Associate’s Degree in the Building Construction Program. Applications available online at Building Contractors

Fine Arts Finals – Illinois Scholarship Competition: DEADLINE: May 7, 2010. Scholarship competition from Freshman – Seniors to promote talented and gifted emerging artists and award their mastery of technique and excellence of artistic achievement. Winnebago County Veteran’s Association: DEADLINE: materials must be in by May 15, 2010. Scholarship for seniors who have a family member who served in the military. See Mrs. Joyner in counseling for application.

AES Engineering Scholarship Essay Contest: DEADLINE: must be submitted by October 8, 2010. Scholarship essay contest for a graduating senior planning on majoring in engineering. Information available online: www.aesengineers.com/scholarships.php

Myrla Block Memorial Scholarship: DEADLINE: April 30, 2010. Scholarship for senior residents of Rockford Illinois beginning undergraduate study at any college/university. Awards will be based on ability, ambition and need. Applications available from Mrs. Joyner in counseling.

Psi U Scholarship Grant Program: DEADLINE: September 20, 2010. Scholarship for males planning on attending the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Applications online at Psi U

Rockford Area Crime Stoppers: DEADLINE: Materials must be received by April 21st. Scholarship for a graduating senior who is a permanent resident of Winnebago County who has an interest in pursuing a degree in the criminal justice field. Applications available from Mrs. Joyner in counseling

Student View Scholarship Program: DEADLINE: April 22nd, 2010. Scholarship for a graduating senior interested in attending a four-year college, community/junior college or career school. Students complete a short survey online about local colleges and are entered into the program. Surveys available online at Student View

Richard Schnell Memorial Scholarship: DEADLINE: Materials must be received by July 1st, 2010. Scholarship for an individual pursuing a career in dentistry or dental hygiene and who has financial need. Applications available online at Schnell















PSAE!

PSAE Day 1: ACT - Thursday April 29th
PSAE Day 2: WorkKeys - Friday April 30th

Students will be registered for the PSAE in school and there is no fee to take the test. Students must take the PSAE in order to graduate high school.
