Beyer School Mission Statement The mission of the Beyer Basic School, a school dedicated to nurturing and educating the whole child, is to create a community where all children will:
*Develop their unique capabilities and a sense of self-worth, *Begin their journey as lifelong learners, and *Become positive, participating members of society,
by utilizing the talents of staff, families and community members and providing an integrated environment that allow them to experience a high quality of life. |

Beyer Community Action Council (BCAC) The Council’s purpose is to focus on efforts by Beyer faculty, staff, parents, and community to help students achieve subject mastery appropriate to their intellectual gifts. The Council will review the Beyer School Improvement Plan and all data commenting on the learning climate and culture of the school.
Committee members include Bill Sadler(Principal of Beyer School), Jean Olivencia (Beyer parent), JoAnn Shaheen and Dick Kunnert (United Way volunteers), Becky Cook-Kendall and Lana Paris (United Way), Bruce Parks (Janet Wattles Center), Ruth Fairchild (Lutheran Social Services), Joyce Bass (Winnebago County Board of Health), and Jon Bates (Abilities Center).
