A Career and Technology Lab exposes students to high-tech career opportunities, such a computer graphics and animation, flight technology and computer aided drafting.

Kennedy follows the Middle School "Team" Concept, which establishes small communities of learners within the school and adheres to the standard district core curriculum. Teachers and staff possess a high degree of ownership in the academic performance of all Kennedy students. An attitude of "what more can be done to ensure student progress" prevails.

Kennedy is arranged in a pod configuration that surrounds a large and bright open area. Grade level and areas of study separate pods. The openness that characterizes Kennedy enhances the family-like approach to educational excellence.
