Lathrop Elementary School is a multicultural community based learning center where excellence is defined and expected of its principal, its staff, and its children; students learn to read, write, do math, and develop healthy lifestyles, accomplished through a focus on learning styles and multiple intelligences, and “Solutions Thinking.”
The beliefs that support our mission are:
• Schooling empowers learners.
• Learning is a lifelong process.
• Learner self-esteem influences the learning process.
