My Thoughts about New Milford
New Milford is a good school, the teachers really try hard to help us and they are very nice. I think we all are learning a lot from them. If I had to choose one of the teachers who works hard, to get us ready for fifth grade, and is very helpful I would choose Mr. Pearson. When Mr. Yankee comes in and compliments us I feel good and I think teachers do too because they know they are doing a good job. I feel that the teachers have taught us so well that we may be in the top three this year on the ISATS. I think New Milford is a good school and if we work hard we can be in the top three. All the teachers and students work very hard and if we want to be the best school in Rockford I think we should do our work, listen and stay out of trouble. This is my thoughts on New Milford school.

New Milford I think New Milford is a great school because it has the best teachers and everyone is friendly. You have a lot of fun learning and the teachers encourage you to do your best. In our school, we have grades 3-5. Some of our teachers are Mrs. Whitlow, Mr. Gunderson, and Mrs. Huber for third grade. Mr. Pearson, Mrs.Courtright, and Mrs.O for fourth grade. Mr. Miller, Mrs.Furster, and Mr.Price for fifth grade. We also have Mrs. Moncell for art, Mrs. Martin for music, Mrs.E for P.E, and many more wonderful teachers. Many of the students who get A’s and B’s get to go to rec-night. Rec-night is a party after school where students have fun like playing games and dancing. We also have an award assembly which is where we get awards for our hard work in school. You can get an honor roll by having good grades like A’s and B’s, you can get a perfect attendance award for only missing 0 days of school or 2 tardies, you can get a merit award for turning in your reading logs, and certificates for after school and during school activities. The after school activities are basketball, chess club, and tutoring. During school activities are safety patrol and student council. We sometimes have a spelling bee and a talent show.
As you can see, New Milford is a great school and I hope that more and more students come to our school to learn here.
