Our Mission Statement:
Rockford Environmental Science Academy will provide a challenging, nurturing, and safe environment where middle school students can excel academically and grow socially and emotionally into responsible young adults. Through the implementation of a Love and Logic program, students will have the opportunity to experience classroom and real life problem solving skills to assist in the endeavor to become productive citizens. The RESA staff will teach to the Illinois State standards. As a professional development school, we will continue to collaborate with NIU and Rock Valley College. RESA will strive for excellence in everything we do!

7th & 8th grade U.S. History Book NEW for 2009-2010

In 2009-2010 the 7th grade will begin teaching U.S. History in social studies. The 7th grade will cover pre-history to reconstruction (1865). 8th grade will cover reconstruction (1865) to the present. 7th grade had been teaching geography. This subject will be offered in 9th grade as a freshmen social studies option. Check out the site and get to know it. Learn what is available on the site and how to access it! Enjoy!! |
