Dear Parents & Guardians,
We are so excited to be a part of your child’s learning adventures. Riverdahl Elementary is a wonderful, safe learning environment that encourages the growth of your child both socially and academically. We look forward to working with you and your child as we support and encourage their achievements throughout the school year.
If there is a change in your child’s normal routine for transportation home, you must notify the office by a note or by phone, 229-2870. We will not allow your child to change his routine without your permission.
If you are going to pick up your student at the end of the day, please park in the back lot near the playground and wait for your student in the gym. This allows the teacher the opportunity to see your child safely greets you.
Please call the office when your child is absent and try your best to get your child to school on time. School starts at 7:55.

Estimadas Familias de la Escuela Riverdahl:
¡BIENVENIDOS AL AÑO ESCOLAR 2007-2008!
Estamos tan emocionados de ser parte de las experiencias de aprendizaje de sus niños. La Escuela Primaria Riverdahl tiene un ambiente de aprendizaje estupendo y seguro que anima al niño en su crecimiento tanto social como académico. Estamos ansiosos por trabajar con ustedes y sus niños ya que los apoyamos y animamos en sus logros a través del año escolar.
Una vez más, si hay cualquier cambio en la rutina diaria para recoger a su hijo/a por favor notifique a la oficina escribiendo una nota o con una llamada telefónica (815/229-2870). No dejaremos que su hijo/a cambie su rutina hasta que Uds. nos dén la autorización.
Si piensan recoger su hijo/a a la salida del día, por favor, utilize el estacionamiento de detrás, cerca del patio de recreo y espere a su hijo/a en el gimnasio. Esto hará que la maestra vea que su hijo/a les salude.
Por favor, llamen a la oficina en caso de ausencia y hagan todo lo posible para que su hijo/a llegue a la escuela puntualmente. El día escolar empieza a las 7:55 de la mañana.
