Thompson Elementary School is proud to have a learning environment that is inclusive and welcoming to all students, while being sensitive to the students' diverse backgrounds and needs. Thompson stresses the School Team concept where the students, staff and parents are a family.
The School is situated in the southeast portion of Rockford in a quiet, residential neighborhood, away from the high traffic areas. The school's playground was developed in cooperation with the Rockford Park District.
