Thompson's Computer Lab gives students an opportunity to use computer technology to help them achieve a higher level of learning. All classes use the lab at least 30 minutes a week. |

During the summer of 2001 a server was installed, linking all computers in the building. This enables students to work on projects at any workstation, and allows teachers to track students' progress on various programs. The server is especially important with the Accelerated Reading Program used by grades 2-5. |

Through the generosity of the Computers For Schools Program and the Sundstrand Corporation we have 35 computers in the Computer Lab as well as three computers in each classroom. This technology would not be financially possible without their support. |
