Conklin Uniform Policy
Beginning in the 2005-06 school year, Conklin Elementary School started a uniform policy for all students. Parent surveys of Conklin students came back with over 81% of parents desiring to go to a uniform dress code for students. Uniforms will be available from several area retailers: Wal-Mart, Target, JC Penney, to name a few, will all carry uniform parts for students who attend Conklin. Since our uniform is considered to be so "generic", garage sales would also be a good resource for parents to use in order to outfit their child for the uniform code before school starts.

ALL PARENTS:
Please take special note of all items that are in bold print! These are either the new additions to our uniform policy OR part of the policy that has been in existence from the beginning and students have not always followed the policy. Sometimes it gets cold in the building in the winter; HOODED SWEATSHIRTS/HOODIES OF ANY KIND WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO BE WORN IN THE CLASSROOM. Your child may layer his/her clothing, as long as the outside layer follows the uniform policy.
