| This is an exciting year in 8th grade. Not only do we have new textbooks, we also have a new district America History curriculum which is the New Nation through Reconstruction,(1781-1890). This shortened time span will allow the students to learn in-depth the various topics we will cover. Seventh and Eighth grades will be teaching the same curriculum this year only; thereafter, the 8th grade curriculum will be the Progressive Era (1890's) through the present. |

Thurs.Jan.28,2010 - Give parents the newsletter regarding next Tuesday's survey; Quiz on notes Monday.
Mon.Jan 25th - Finish reading Chapter 8 by Thursday.
Jan.22,2010 - Turn in your DBQ shets, both Scaffolding and Document Analysis sheets. Also be prepared to debate and to turn in your written assignment. |
