This is my 22nd year in first grade and I am so excited to be here! I know you will have so much fun this year and you will learn many new things.
I do not live at King even though I am here quite a bit. I live with my husband, my daughter, Kaila, and my son, Craig. Kaila is 18 years old and is a freshman in college and Craig is 15 and is a sophmore in high school. Both of my children are very involved in sports and so we are an active family.
We love to travel, go to sporting events, and spend time with family and friends. We spend the summer in the pool and at the baseball field! I am excited to get to know each of yow this year. |

We do many exciting things in first grade. We will be spending a lot of time learning about the metamorphosis of frogs, toads and butterflies in the next few weeks. If any of you want to catch a frog, toad or a caterpillar, bring them in and we will make a new home for the critter.
We will also be learning lots of things with reading and math and we will be meeting new teachers and friends! I hope you are ready for a fun filled year!
