Dear Students and Parents:
Welcome back from what I hope was a great summer vacation! We have a very eventful year ahead of us, beginning with our Atwood trip. This year's trip will take place during the of September 14th. The entire fifth grade will be separated into two groups, group A will attend the 14th-16th, group B will be out on the 16th-18th, additional information will be arriving soon.
Students will also get to work on a variety of projects this year; some will be with students from other classes. There will be opportunities to be a member of the quiz bowl team, participate in Math contests, National Geography Bee, and Spelling Bee.
Parents please save Tuesday September 8th on your calender for orientation, this is a very important event for information about the upcoming year and provides the opportunity for any questions or concerns to be clarified.
I look forward to meeting everyone in the very near future and enjoying all the successes that this year is sure to bring.
