Parents,
There are a couple of things that I want to review with you. First, students need to have a book cover on their textbook. I have some for sale for $1 otherwise, you can get them at just about any store.
Second, please have your child bring home thier science binder to study each evening for 5-10 minutes. From the results of last week's quiz, students have NOT been studying.
Thirdly, students need to bring supplies to school. We make alot of vocabulary flashcards and use three packs of index cards each year. Students can keep their own in their locker but will need to remember to bring them to class on the day we need them (of which they will be notified in advance). However, I can store these index cards in a locked cupboard in my room and students will have them when they need them. Students will need the index cards for the activity on this Wednesday.
Lastly, students' binders are checked on a semi-weekly basis. This should be an easy A. Students keep all assignments and notes in this binder and we go over the requirements of the binder each week. Please look at this and quiz your child on the notes contained there.
