6th Grade Gifted Science covers the following Earth Science Topics:
• Earth’s Internal Processes
• Rocks and Minerals
• Oceans
• Weather and Climate
• Energy and the Environment
• Astronomy
In addition to these topics students are introduced to essential scientific hands-on inquiry based activities.
Students will complete numerous labs, activities, and projects in the classroom, while at home they will be expected to stay up to date on assigned readings, written work, and projects.
