Dear Families,
Did you have time to get out this past weekend? The weather was beautiful. Our field trip to Severson Dells was wonderful. Thank you to Mrs. Knott, Mrs. Peplos and Mrs. Pruitt for chaperoning the trip. Thank you for helping with the low waste lunches. Our class had the lowest amount of waste of all the classes that had been there so far.
I have attached a form for the October 24th book report. The book can be any fairy tale or folk tale.
I have also attached a book order. This order is due October 25.
Everyday Math has provided a new online service. I have registered our class for this service. I am sending home a card that has your child’s login and password. Each child has a different password. Please keep these for the rest of the year.

Click on Student Login on the left hand side.
The login is your child’s first name, the first letter of your last name and
a number.
The password is a number, letter and shape.
This website gives you access to latest STUDENT REFERENCE BOOK. The one the children bring home is an old version of this book. This book is full of information about our Everyday Math Program.
Next Tuesday all third graders will receive a dictionary
from the Sara Ingrassia/Jackie Confer fund. I will send this home for the first week.
However, we will need them back for our “How to use the dictionary” unit.
We are very lucky to receive this wonderful resource.
