Members of the Rockford Board of Education voted February 13 to use attendance zones to assign students to middle and high schools, beginning with the 2007-2008 school year. Parents of students who this fall will enter 6th and 9th grades should receive letters soon informing them of their assignment under the new system. Students entering kindergarten must still apply for assignment to a school under the choice enrollment system and should scroll down this page for more information.
